The Swiss rider Jane Richard and Zekina Z (female, 9 years) won the 3rd edition of the Grand Prix Challenge Raffaella Aprile, on the fields of Augusta , second stage of Sicily Jumping Tour. After a spectacular second run, which had access the twelve best riders in the race's most prestigious competition, Jane Richard, winner of the 2009 Challenge, always on Zekina Z, ended her run with no errors in the sensational time of 43.22 second.
"There was not a point of the route, where I can claim to have won the race - said Jane Richard - I tried to save time at every turn. Zekina Z, 9 years old, at her sixth Grand Prix, was sensational. Prior to Augusta in January this year had participated in the CSI**** of Basel and at the World Cup Zurich . "

Jane e Zekina leave for the WEG in Kentucky

The exciting adventure of the World Championships in the USA go to start at the end of September. It's the first time for Jane and Zekina Z. The Swiss Show jumping team is composed by Jane, Pius Schwizer, Niklaus Schurtenberger, Daniel Etter and Steve Guerdat.
The full program of races crowns the best athletes in the equestrian disciplines. The Belgian Philippe Le Jeune wins the Show Jumping Competition. He complete four amazing clear rounds riding the horses of the other finalists. Germany rooms on the top step of the podium in the team competition with Marcus Ehning on Plot Blue, Janne-Frederick Meyer on Cellagon Lambrasco, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum on Checkmate and Carsten-Otto Nagel on Corradina.

Bronze medal at the Swiss Championships in Bern

Jane took part to Swiss Championship in Bern with the italian bay Upanisad di San Patrignano son of Mr. Blue and Nickita di San Patrignano. After the first day they are placed 13th in the overall rankings. During the second day Jane and Upanisad run two clear rounds that permit to teke the 4th place. In the Sunday's Final the binomials run a clear round and a second one with just four penalties taking the third place and the bronze medal behind Claudia Gisler on Touchable and Steve Guerdat on Ferrari. In fourth place Philipp Züger.

Jane win again at the Grand Prix of Augusta

Jane Richard, already winner of the Grand Prix of Augusta in 2009, won the most prestigious test in the opening day of Sicily Jumping Tour, riding Jalla de Gaverie.
The Swiss rider with a double clear rounds ended in the amazing time of 33.85 won the victory, behind his compatriot Jorg Roethlisberger on Paloma des Planesand and the German horsewoman Luisa Gropper Himmelreich on Sportsmann.
